One of the most difficult lesson is that of patience. In my time I have spoken with a good number of self-employed people who were setting up their business and have always suggested patience. And yet... It's me now, and I'm finding the requirement for patience very difficult - and starting to have real regard for those who have been through this stage.
I'd had a few weeks of speaking with potential clients and, so far, have converted.... none into clients. I know that this is the business, and that this is how things work, but it's still frustrating.
Looking dispassionately at how things have gone, I'm pleased. A little more, though, please!
